Packaging Design

I had the privilege of leading the creative development for various Kinder Surprise special editions for Ferrero Germany. These were dynamic collaborations blending the iconic Kinder Surprise with beloved brands from Disney, 20th Century Studios, and more, captivating audiences with a fusion of chocolate delight and entertainment.

The primary challenge was to harmonize the Kinder Surprise brand with each partner franchise, ensuring the packaging design reflected the essence of both. This required a deep dive into the visual and emotional cues of each brand, crafting a design narrative that resonated with fans while preserving the playful spirit of Kinder Surprise.

My role oversaw the entire creative process, from conceptualizing the key visual designs to adapting them across various packaging formats. This involved creating design proposals that appealed to both children and adults, capturing the magic and excitement of the featured franchises while showcasing the Kinder Surprise brand.

Communication with the client was pivotal, involving constant discussions to ensure alignment on vision, design iterations, and final approvals. This collaboration ensured that each special edition not only met but exceeded Ferrero Germany’s expectations, setting new benchmarks for brand partnerships.

Combining storytelling with the joy of discovery that Kinder Surprise is known for, these editions strengthened brand loyalty, attracted new audiences, and celebrated the rich narratives of each franchise.

My responsibilities encompassed not only packaging design but also the broader advertising communication for these special editions. Through meticulous design and strategic brand alignment, the Kinder Surprise special editions for Ferrero Germany not only captivated imaginations but also further solidified Kinder’s position as a market leader.
